Camillus and Fairmount cover a lot of ground on the west side, from the village along Genesee Street out to the ranches and split-levels built through the 1960s and 70s along West Genesee and Bennett Road.
Homes of that era are hitting the point where kitchens, baths and basements are being renovated by second or third owners. A large share of our Camillus work is remodel debris — old cabinets, torn-out flooring, and drywall from a basement refinish.
LaFata Disposal Services also handles the other half of that cycle: clearing out a house that a family has owned since it was built.

Neighborhoods and areas we cover
- Camillus Village
- Fairmount
- Warners
- Split Rock
- West Genesee corridor
Renovation debris is the easiest thing to underestimate. A single kitchen tear-out routinely fills more space than people expect once cabinets and countertops come apart.
If you are mid-project, we can come more than once so debris never blocks the driveway or the next trade.
Frequently asked questions
Do you haul renovation debris in Camillus?
Yes — cabinets, drywall, flooring, trim, fixtures and general remodel waste from residential projects.
Do you cover Fairmount and Warners?
Yes, both are part of our regular west-side coverage.
Can you take an old deck apart?
Yes. Small residential decks and platforms can be demolished and hauled in the same visit.
Is it cheaper than a dumpster rental?
For small to mid-size jobs it usually is, because you pay for what is actually hauled instead of rental time.
