Clay is one of the largest towns in Onondaga County by population, and most of it was built out from the 1970s onward — subdivisions off Route 31, Morgan Road, Caughdenoy Road and Henry Clay Boulevard, with more open land toward Euclid and Three Rivers.
Those houses come with attached two-car garages, full basements and, very often, a backyard shed. Thirty to fifty years in, all three are full.
LaFata Disposal Services runs Clay constantly. Garage cleanouts, shed tear-downs, appliance removal from basements and full house clearings when a family sells are the standard mix.

Snow load is a real factor here. Every few winters we get a run of calls for sheds and carports that failed under accumulated snow, and those need to come out before spring thaw makes the yard soft.
Clay is close enough to our Liverpool and Cicero routes that scheduling is usually flexible.
Frequently asked questions
Do you serve all of the town of Clay?
Yes, including Euclid, Three Rivers, Bayberry and the developments along Route 31 and Caughdenoy Road.
Can you remove a collapsed shed?
Yes. We brace and dismantle failed structures rather than climbing on them, and we rake the site afterward.
Do you get appliances out of a basement?
Yes. Basement washers, dryers, freezers and water heaters are routine work for us.
How is a garage cleanout priced?
By volume and labor. Most of a garage's cost is how full it is and how much sorting is involved.
